Events

All kinds! Bachelor parties, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, bridal showers, business meetings, and those are just the B’s! With three unique floors, we have the space to meet all of your event planning needs.

Each of our three floors has different amenities, functions and capacity. Please check our event page for all rental options.

Room set up and tear down with tables, chairs, and linens.

We ask for a 50% floor rental fee to secure the space and date. The remaining balance is due the night of the event. 

Weddings: 10 hours for ceremony and reception with 1-hour rehearsal and 2, one-hour planning sessions. 

Parties & Events: 6 hours

Additional hours maybe be added at $150 per hour

We have limited decor at this time. Please contact your event coordinator for more details. 

You may rent up to 4 parking meters for the day at $30 each, which the venue will rent and add to your final bill. Otherwise, there is street parking and paid parking lots in the surrounding area. 

Yes! You can discuss different venue space options to decide the best fit for your event size and style.

We charge sales tax on taxable items, and 20% gratuity to food and beverage sales.

Hotel

We have 4 downtown hotel locations for you and your guests to stay. You may block rooms at the Montvale Hotel or the Ruby River Hotel. Please see our  Accommodations page for more information.

We offer a 15% discount at any of the four locations. We have 3 2-bedroom loft suites available for rental as well. These suites are a 2-night stay minimum, booked through the Event Center with a discounted rate when you book the venue. 

Weddings

Yes, the third floor features a sitting room that doubles as a bridal ready room with vanity mirror stations, several couches, and a farm table. 

We do not provide wedding cakes. We have a $2pp cake cutting fee.

Catering

No, while we have a preferred partnership with the Steam Plant Restaurant and Brew Pub, an $800 fee may be issued for outside catering. All outside caterers must provide all cookware, serving dishes, dishware, and serving staff. 

Yes, we meet at the Steam Plant Kitchen and Brew for all tastings, available Tuesday – Thursday at 4pm.

Montvale Event Center catering services include all dishware, glassware, utensils, and serving staff. 

Bar Services

Yes, there is no outside alcohol allowed in the building.
